IT'S 6 YEARS NOW!

It seems like it was yesterday when I wrote my message here just a year ago... We are six years now and we are still offering and giving to you the best of our Festival. A very especial Festival like Montagood.

Maybe you were one of the first to enjoy it. Some people say it's special, some think it's different. Do you have your own opinion? This edition is very enviable: We`ve got three stages (like the last years) with very different kinds of music: Hard Techno Schranz, Drum & Bass,Hardtek, Frenchcore, Hardcore, Terror, UK Hardcore, Breakcore.

But this time, we also include a little of Dubstep , very popular in the United Kingdom nowadays. We bet for some changes this time: The Breakcore is moving from the Ot of Chapel stage to the Xtreme Stage. Therefore, the Out of Chapel Stage will be totally Drum and Bass and you will be able to enjoy the very best Dj DISTANCE.

The Hard Tehno Stage will be changed by the Kaotika Stage. Then, the 3 stages will be: Out of the Chapel, Xtreme Stage and Kaotika Stage.

I said something a year ago that you might remember: "A lot of people have seen our event "grow up" every year. Some of you will be the first time to live this magic moment. But what we really hope is that you enjoy as much as you really deserve. We are going to give you the best of our music.

But remember, you are the main character of this project.

The place or site where we prepare the next 4th edition of the International HardTechno/Schranz Drumm & Bass HardTek HardCore Festival is not a waste! Read, read…

The tiny village of Montagut was sacked and demolished in 1641 by the Felipe IV troops. After this war, the landlord of the “Montagut State”, who belonged to the LLeida’s Cathedral, tried to rebuild the village giving away fields and the facility to the families to build a new home. The people preferred to build the country houses on their own fields where they worked as no need to travel. So for that reason, the village has never been rebuilt.

To control the harvest and works from all the farmers of the country places there were several responsibles and managers. They and their family lived in the called “Montagut house”, place where is going to hold the 4th edition of the Montagood Festival 2008.

The Montagut’s, is a complex formed by Saint Ana Chapel of the 18th century and the annex buildings as houses, old school, garages and the weighing machine. At this place was where all the farmers brought all the harvest, they weight it and part from it was to pay the fields’ “rent”. All this arrangements were signed in an annual contract. This exploitation which was in the church hands will be lasted till 1967. After then, farmers and agricultures are owners of the fields worked during a lot of years.

Montagut’s was bought in 2004 by the town council of Alcarras.
